Ms. Manon Côté joins the Bureau du Québec à Toronto

Toronto, October 19th, 2015 – Ms. Nicole Lemieux, Chief Representative at the Bureau du Québec à Toronto (BQT), is pleased to announce the appointment of Manon Côté as Public and Francophone Affairs Attaché, effective immediately. Ms. Côté will be working in collaboration with Mr. Daniel Bonin, who currently holds the same position at the BQT.

Ms. Côté has a wealth of experience in communications, especially at Radio-Canada where she worked for the past fifteen years. From 2006 to 2015, she held the strategic position of Chief of Communications for the Ontario region. Among her notable achievements, she established a strong set of links with a wide array of francophone communities throughout the province, and she organized many special events including the annual Semaine de la francophonie in Toronto.

Ms. Côté holds a BA in Public Communications, Marketing and Sociology from Université Laval. She also is the recipient of Prix Jean-Baptiste Rousseau 2015, a Société d’histoire de Toronto’s award bestowed upon an individual to acknowledge her or his exceptional role in promoting Toronto’s culture and heritage.
